In 2018, I was an Architecture major at The Spitzer School of Architecture at City College. At the time, my close friends were starting out in the Event Planning industry and they would ask me to make custom props for their events. After making a few props, I decided that I would do it as a side hustle to make a few extra dollars while in school. I started putting my props on instagram and other event planners around NYC began reaching out.

In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and I found myself in an unknown space. I took some time to figure out what I wanted to do and I found myself working as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist. I worked through the pandemic and still made props on the side but there was a surplus of orders once the pandemic started to lift certain rules. I made PS Event Decor an LLC in February 2021 and left my job as a Machinist the following month.

PS Event Decor is an event prop/decor rental and sales company. We service a wide variety of events including but not limited to photoshoots, weddings, birthday parties, dinner parties, corporate events/activations and much more. All of our props are designed and built in-house to ensure everything is of the highest quality. Not only do we have our own inventory to rent, we custom make props for others to rent out on their own. Inquire within to learn more!
